There was a mixture of results in Senior games played at Surrey Park Netball.  Brigadiers A had a decisive win over Wallacetown, 44-13, Brigadiers shoots, Teresa Panagiotidis and Trish Reeves were in top form but the effort of Wallacetown, Pam Fairburn, and T. Hamill did not go unnoticed.
PictureWoodland's goal attack, Phillipa McKenzie balances precariously on the edge of the court to take the ball ahead of Julie Wilson, Ngawai.
It was a close game between Rata and St Marys which looked like it was going to be a close game as both teams had the same amount of losses and wins.  Rata came out the winner 24-22 after being up 10-9 at halftime.  Woodlands came from behind to level the score at 24 - 24.  The game was not as exciting as the score as there were a lot of poor ball handling and missed passing. Neither team took control even though Ngawai was ahead 13-9 at half time.  In the first half Ngawai's goal keeper showed some good work in the circle and Lisa Temo showed good form at the other end of the court.
Aotearoa could not match the experience and ball skills of United in a game which resulted in a 39-15 to United.  Aotearoa worked hard to try and minimise United's lead but was let down by poor ball handling and inaccurate shooting.
Bluff was let down by its shooting in the second half of their game against Makarewa.
Makarewa won the game 48-32 by taking their time and moving the ball around the goal circle to ensure their shoots were in a good position to shoot.
