South Island Dairy Association makes a profit in 1970

The South Island Dairy Association had their general meeting at the Kelvin Hotel in Invercargill and Mr Gordon McKenzie of Mataura Island, was re-elected as director.   Shareholders were told that net profit for the year ending 31st March 1970 was $63,671 down from last year of $69,918.  Mr E. R. Comer the chairman and Mr J. Archibald, ward member both said that it was the second highest profit in the company's history, and was a satisfactory return.
