Wyeths feature at Woodlands Picnic in 1933

Woodlands district picnic was held at Mr Bell's paddock in 1933 and although the attendance was not very high it was a great success.
Those responsible for the day's success was Messrs T. Lyall (president) Gordon Wyeth (secretary) and stewards, handicappers and starters R. McKenzie and A. Forbes - in charge of jumping events. J. Middlemiss and R. Magee - children's races.  John McKendry and T. Lyall and judges, W. McNay, G. Piercy, J. Wyeth, H. Anderson J. Robbie and prize steward, R.L. Bonney.

Some of the participants were: Eunice Crawford and Eileen Crawford - (Girls 8-9) a deadheat.
