P. Tillard scores 4 goals for Collegiate hockey - Invercargill....1969....

Invercargill men's hockey in 1969 saw Collegiate beat Civil Service 6-4.  Service netted the first goals and had the better of their opposite in the first half.
Collegiate came out firing in the second half and forced Civil into defence mode, which was led by left inner, P. Tillard.

Tillard ended up scoring 4 goals for the day, he was well supported by M. Crossland.  D. Hughes also had a solid game but needed a bit more patience as he pushed the ball too far a lot of the time.
L. Ching, captain for Service was the only one capable of breaking through the defence line, D. Blick also had a good game.  
In the other game of the day Southland Boys High School beat Bluff 6-3.  A. Laker, N. Whaanga, D. Wixon and D. Robertson were all good for Bluff.
